The Stagcom 10th April Round Up
We were excited about the weekend and it did not disappoint! It was the hottest weekend of year and there was high drama in all of the sport.
There's a good chance you will have been out soaking up the sun in a beer garden. So, with that in mind, we've got a handy round up of all the weekend's major talking points
The Masters
Sergio Garcia claimed his first major title with a thrilling play-off victory over Justin Rose at the Masters. Both players finished on nine-under after four rounds at Augusta, setting up a sudden-death play-off on the 18th.
Garcia played it perfectly to land a birdie, whereas Rose could only manage a bogey after a wayward drive, meaning Garcia claimed the green jacket. He becomes the third Spaniard to win the Masters, following Seve Ballesteros and Jose Maria Olazabal.
Charl Schwartzel came third on six-under and there were top 10 finishes for England's Paul Casey and Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy; who must wait another year to try and become only the sixth man to win all golf's majors.
Grand National
One For Arthur claimed the Grand National title after a four-and-a-half length victory at Aintree. In winning, he became only the second Scottish trained winner of the famous race.
At 14-1, the winner, ridden by Derek Fox, was well clear of next back Cause of Causes and Saint Are in third.
In the build-up to the race, Blaklion became favourite at 8-1, but after leading for much of the race, faded to finish in fourth.

Premier League
It's as we were in the Premier League, at both ends of the table, after another pulsating weekend of action. Chelsea maintained their seven-point cushion at the top of the league after a convincing 3-1 victory against Bournemouth. An Adam Smith own goal gave the visitors an early goal, which was soon followed up by a fine Eden Hazard goal. Josh King gave the hosts hope, but a Marcos Alonso free-kick sealed the points for Antonio Conte's side.
Spurs remain in second after a 4-0 dismantling of Watford at White Hart Lane. The visitors held firm for half an hour, but Dele Alli broke the deadlock with a stunning effort from distance; his goals were soon followed up by Eric Dier and a Son Heung-min brace either side of half time. Spurs were also boosted by the return of Harry Kane in the second half.
It still looks as though Hull and Swansea will be battling it out over the last relegation spot after both lost at the weekend. Hull succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at Manchester City, and Swansea fell to a 1-0 defeat to West Ham United at the London Stadium.
Chinese Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton claimed victory at the Chinese Grand Prix for his first race win of the year and to move him into a share of the championship lead.
The Mercedes driver was able to lead from the front and hold off the challenge of Ferrari's Sebastien Vettel. Red Bull's Max Verstappen managed to move up from 16th on the grid to claim a podium finish, another fine race from the youngster.
Already, after just two races, it looks as though the championship will be fought out between Hamilton and Vettel. The next race is in Bahrain this weekend.
