The Stagcom 3rd May Round Up

Well there is only one place to start in this week's round up! Leicester City Football Club are now Premier League champions! We will focus on that astonishing achievement and the rest of the news from the bank holiday weekend.

Leicester City Are Champions

Last night it was finally confirmed, Leicester City are the 2015/16 Premier League champions! Eden Hazard scored a late equaliser for Chelsea against Spurs which handed the Foxes their first ever Premier League crown and sent the city of Leicester into raptures! To put the size of the achievement into some perspective, this is arguably the biggest sporting achievement of all time. The odds on Claudio Ranieri's side winning the league title stood at 5,000/1 before a ball was kicked; you could get shorter odds on Elvis Presley being found alive. Photos and videos of Leicester fans partying deep into the night have gone viral since last night and the party is set to continue for a good while yet. Congratulations to everyone involved at Leicester City, you have been incredible!

Another Triumph For Leicester

If Leicester's league win wasn't enough, there was another sporting success story for the city last night. Mark Selby claimed his second World Snooker Championship title after defeating Ding Junhui 18-14 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield. The lifelong Leicester fan claimed it was 'the best night' of his life.

Rosberg Wins... Again

Nico Rosberg made it four out of four as he dominated the Russian Grand Prix on Sunday. The German controlled the race from start to finish, extending his lead at the top of the 2016 Driver Standings to 43 points. Fellow Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton started way down the grid in 10th place after suffering from engine failure in qualifying, but drove a flawless race to limit the damage to his title hopes, and finished in second place.

Could Newcastle Complete The Great Escape?

Newcastle United were written off and condemned to the Championship a few weeks ago, but climbed out of the relegation zone on Saturday after beating Crystal Palace 1-0. Andros Townsend scored an outstanding free-kick in the first half and goalkeeper Karl Darlow was the hero in the second half as he saved a penalty from former Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye to give the Magpies all three points! The win was made all the more significant after Sunderland and Norwich both failed to register a win. Jermain Defoe scored a last gasp equaliser to rescue a point for Sunderland at Stoke, and Norwich succumbed to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal after a goal from substitute Danny Welbeck.

In Other News: This Should Settle A Few Arguments

For years us lads have made cheap jokes about the size of condom one may require. Well thanks to Men's Fitness we know now just how 'big' you need to be to fit into a Trojan Magnum - a large condom in layman's terms. Apparently you will need to measure in at 8.07 inches and be 2.13 inches wide if you want to fit into their larger variety of condom. For most of us, this won't even matter as the average length of our manhood is 5.16 inches. Oh well, size isn't everything...
