A bespoke bar crawl is a no-brainer for the first night of a Barcelona stag do weekend. No wandering around like lost souls or hitting random bars and bodegas. Let your nightlife guide know what you want from the night and you'll be taken to venues that fit the bill.

Las Ramblas buzzes at night and is lined with cocktail bars, stag-friendly sports bars and cellar pubs tucked away down side streets.

Go to the Gothic Quarter if you want hidden gems. Hit the labyrinthine network of winding streets and discover everything from hip clubs to Irish pubs and live flamenco shows. It's a mixed bag.

Head for El Born if you want an upmarket night out with Barcelona's trendsetters, and Raval for a bohemian bar crawl.
