Edinburgh Festival Fringe Must Sees

If you're looking for alternative stag do ideas, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe is an excellent place to start. The biggest festival of its kind on the planet brings music, art, comedy, food, theatre, dance and all sorts of cool and completely bonkers stuff together in one big mash up.

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is unique, which makes it ideal for a stag do. It's like The Mighty Boosh brought to life!

Where else in the world can you see a one-man Breaking Bad? Or a fire-breather flirt with a mermaid while a troupe of Japanese Tao samurai dancers bust out their moves?

There's alot more on offer than deep fried Mars bars, although they are real and surprisingly tasty! Speaking of which, you'll definitely need a decent feed at some point during your stag do. Edinburgh has some great restaurants. Get the lads together for a three-course meal before a big stag night on Grassmarket and Lothian Road. Get on board the club bus if you don't fancy treading the cobbles in search of the best bars.

Here are five shows you must see at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2014.

GENERATION OF Z

You've seen World War Z and Shaun of the Dead, now it's YOUR turn to be attacked by the living dead! This ain't your average night at the theatre. It's audience participation taken to the max! Can you think on your feet, take decisive action and beat the zombie menace?

BORIS & SERGEY'S ASTONISHING FREAKATORIUM

Think Avenue Q, only with way ruder puppets. The guys behind the show judge its success based on the number of people who walk out in disgust.

ONE MAN BREAKING BAD

Miles Allen does all six seasons of Breaking Bad in just one hour. His impressions of Walter, Skylar and Saul are spot on!

LEE EVANS

See Lee Evans unleash brand new material from his forthcoming Monsters tour. A comedy night is a must on an Edinburgh stag do.

WHAT DOES THE TITLE MATTER ANYWAY?

In the 1990s, Whose Line Is It Anyway? wowed TV audiences with its blend of improv and gags. Well, now it's live at the Edinburgh Fringe. Original host Clive Anderson is back, along with Greg Proops and Josie Lawrence.
