The Germany v England match was the big highlight of the weekend. England were lagging 2-0 but then turned it around in incredible style, thanks to levellers from Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy. Eric Dier's final goal in injury time took England to their 3-2 win against Germany, the current World Cup holders. And it all happened in Berlin. Get in!
Harrison Ford is Auctioning his Star Wars: The Force Awakens Jacket
Fancy owning Han Solo's jacket? Harrison Ford has donated the custom jacket in order to raise money for the NYU Langone Center and the charity FACES (Finding a Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures). The jacket is being sold on auction site ifOnly.com, and bidding starts at a cool $18,000.
Georgia Ford, Harrison's 25-year-old daughter, was diagnosed with epilepsy after years of seizures. The Indiana Jones star has called his daughter 'my hero' and said about the auction: 'This is a cause that's near and dear to me and, unlike the cynical Han Solo, I've got a good feeling about this.'
Wall of Death Record Broken by 'National Treasure' Guy Martin
Guy Martin smashed the hell out of his Wall of Death record stunt. The Speed presenter faced the biggest wall of death ever built and broke the current record live on Channel 4, driving vertically at 78.15mph. His old record was 70.33mph. It's not just the speed achieved that was mind-blowing. Martin faced 5.2 g-force during the attempt. Guy's trainer Ken Fox said the wall was like the 'Colosseum'. 'You expect to see lions and gladiators.'
Batman v Superman Takes £300m Worldwide
Some loved it. Others thought it was batsh*t. But Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice took a whacking great £300m at box offices around the world this weekend. According to Forbes.com, that's the 'biggest superhero opening in history.' However, they also went on to say that it also had the biggest drop-off from Friday to Sunday, when 'daily numbers dropped 58.6%'. Let's see what happens when the next DC offering, Suicide Squad, comes out in August.
