The Stagcom 14th September Round Up

Mario turns 30, the man who hasn't showered for 12 years, Mourinho drops the F-bomb, and Sir Ian McGeechan names his 10 players to watch at the Rugby World Cup.

Mario is 30!

Mario celebrates his 30th birthday today, and to mark the event, Google has hidden a new Easter egg on its search. Enter 'Mario' and start playing the game. When your score hits 100, you'll get a little present. Nintendo have celebrated Mario hitting the big 3-0 by releasing Super Mario Maker. Only available on Wii U, it allows the player to design their own Mario world. Experiment, break the rules, play with all the tools, create your own environments, and basically customise the hell out of it.

MSN met up with the man behind the voice, and he's pretty much exactly the opposite of what you'd expect.

The Man Who Hasn't Showered for 12 Years

MIT boffin Dan Whitlock is boldly going where few dare to tread. The graduate is conducting an experiment that involves using a spray instead of showering. He hasn't showered in 12 years, and instead uses Mother Dirt AO + Mist (catchy title), that contains bacteria found in the armpits of humans. The big idea is that the spray coats the body in microbes, which do the cleaning job traditionally performed by showering.

He told the New York Times: 'I wasn't sure what would happen. But I knew it would be good.'

Jose Mourinho Drops the F-Bomb

It was a bad weekend for Jose Mourinho. Chelsea lost 3-1 at Goodison Park, and Mourinho hit the headlines for swearing at Roberto Marintez. The four-letter outburst was apparently provoked by Martinez doing his post-match interview prior to Mourinho's.

'Roberto, next time tell them to let me go before you because we have to travel.'

When Martinez pointed out that he doesn't control the order of interviews, Mourinho dropped the F-bomb and stalked off in a huff.

According to the Daily Star, Mourinho's snit with Martinez is another example of the manager 'letting off steam following his side's awful start.' The Star also reports that this is the club's 'worst start to a top-flight season since 1986-87'.
