Crossbows are the deadliest weapons in the stag arsenal-handle with care! Add this medieval shooting session to your stag weekend in Bristol, and you'll be firing lethal crossbow bolts at a range of targets including exploding bullseyes. Ready, aim, fire!
Crossbows are insanely powerful. They develop 150 lb of force when the string is completely drawn, and release arrows that travel at between 250 and 350 feet per second. That's serious stuff. But the awesome staff at this place are totally happy for you to fire one wearing fancy dress.
Rock up dressed as Genghis Khan, and get brutal on those exploding targets.
Crossbow shooting is an epic activity for a Bristol stag weekend. You can do it as a standalone shooting event, or incorporate it into our amazing 'zombie shooting' package (in which case, you'll also get to fire assault rifles and traditional bows).
You'll need every ounce of skill and concentration to hit the target. Upper body strength isn't an issue, though. A crossbow develops all of its power in the pulley system that winds the string back, and the holding mechanism that keeps the drawn spring in place. So all you have to do is put the arrow in, pull the trigger, and feel like a badass.
