Trabant Rally
Get ready for awesome. Our ever-popular Trabant rally puts two members of your stag group in each Trabant, then we lead you out of Budapest for a spectacular drive through the surrounding countryside. Drive an automotive legend, and step back in time as the city falls away in your rear view mirror. The rally includes lunch in a country pub, and a support car for peace of mind.
The Trabant is a genuine piece of living history: some say it's the worst car ever made, others point out that a vehicle with an average lifespan of 28 years, with a loading capacity of 1,000kg, is not to be sniffed at. You won't win any prizes for speed (0-60 is an eye-wateringly slow 21 seconds), but watch out for the infamous pickup when you get between 20 and 40mph, when the high-revving engine kicks in!
You'll need to send some details for the insurance: your full name; your mother's maiden name; your UK address; your passport number; and your driving licence number. If anyone in the stag party forgets, they'll still be able to ride as passengers on the Trabant rally, but they won't be allowed to take the wheel. Make sure you've sent these details through at least one week before your arrival in Budapest. Happy trails!
