Abseiling

This classic outdoor adventure sport has its roots in climbing. Abseiling is the art of rappelling down from a high point to a lower one, either using a rope and a solid surface (like a wall or a cliff-face) or descending in midair using only the rope. It's how pro climbers get from one spot to another when there are no hand- or foot-holds, and it's real ball-shrinking stuff!
