The camp in question is the Stutthof Concentration Camp, which is located to the east of Gdansk in the Danzig area.
Figures are not exact, but it is thought that 110,000 inmates, many of them Polish intellectuals whom the Nazis feared would spread dissident thoughts, were transported to Stutthof during its 6-year reign of terror. The camp exterminated more than 85,000 of its inmates in the gas chambers, which stand to this day.
