Footgolf is exactly what it sounds like-a cross between footie and golf! Tee off on a proper course, complete with fairways and greens, as you attempt to chip, lob and pass your football into a massive golf hole.
The rules are simple. You can't kick a moving ball. You have to strike each shot from a dead-ball (standing) position). And if there's a group getting around the course quicker than you, you should stand aside and let them pass.
You can play a round of classic footgolf (just like a round of golf, but with footballs), or you can get involved with some specialist footgolf games. Have a drive-off, to see who's got the biggest kick from the tee (only the balls that land on the fairway or the green count in the scoring). Play with your weakest foot on a nominated hole. Or award extra points for getting the ball closest to the pin in fewer than three shots.
