Try your hand at archery at a 50-acre woodland site in the heart of the West Yorkshire countryside. Stag parties up for a true test of skill, strength and control can learn the basics at the county's best adventure centre, just 20 minutes from Leeds.
When you've mastered the 12 steps of the basic archery shot it's time for the main event. No stag do would be complete without a little healthy competition to get the old testosterone pumping. Split into two groups for the team event and then go head-to-head to get the highest individual score.
Quintessentially English, archery is an excellent alternative to your average, adrenaline-charged activity. You'll be quipping with quotes from Robin Hood (Kevin Costner or Russell Crowe - your pick) after a couple of loosed arrows, and we defy you not to get competitive once you get your eye in.
The adventure centre is close enough to Leeds that you don't have to spend hours in a coach, but properly out in the countryside. It's the perfect opportunity to get some fresh air in your lungs and start feeling better after the first night of the stag weekend. Round up ye band of merrie men and get stuck in.
